February 21-22, 2020: CRG psychiatrist, , Dr. Joshua Lowinsky, will present four training sessions to fellow medical providers at the Primary Care Conference in Key West, FL. The focus of this conference is neurology and psychiatry for primary care. His talks are entitled, “The Complexity of Adult ADHD,” “Treating Bipolar Disorders in Primary Care,” “I Just Drank a Few Beers at Night (Substance Abuse),” and “Suicide and Violence.”
February 27, 2020: CRG’s Postsecondary Disability Specialist, Dr. David Parker, will share information about CRG’s services to students and families during the transition to postsecondary options at Midwest Academy’s annual transition fair from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Midwest students and parents, feel free to stop by the CRG booth to learn more about the evaluation, educational, therapy and social skills group services we offer to help young adults “launch” with success!
March 3, 2020: CRG’s Postsecondary Disability Specialist, Dr. David Parker, will represent CRG at the annual WSTC Transition Fair, taking place at Brownsburg High School from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Over 50 organizations will be present and attendees can attend various breakout sessions, too. Be sure to stop by the CRG booth to learn how we can help you and your student prepare for ongoing success after high school.
March 30, 2020: CRG’s Postsecondary Disability Specialist, Dr. David Parker, will share information about CRG’s services to college students with disabilities at the annual conference of Indiana AHEAD. This event will take place at Ball State University. Disability Service Providers from Indiana colleges and universities will be in attendance.

May 16, 2020: CRG psychiatrist, Dr. Joshua Lowinsky, and his colleagues at the Primary Care Psychiatry Foundation (PCPF) will present a conference, “Risks and Resiliencies: Health and Health Care Disparities in Transgender Youth Under 25 Years of Age.” This day-long conference is open to medical providers, behavioral health professionals, and parents/consumers. The purpose of this conference is to decrease the knowledge gap and increase the understanding with which clinical professionals enter the exam/interview room occupied by transgender youth. This event will take place at Marian University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine from 7:15 a.m. to 4:55 p.m. Visit the PCPF sight soon for registration information.
June 29, 2020: CRG Postsecondary Disability Specialist, Dr. David Parker, will present two lectures at Landmark College’s Summer Institute of Educators in Putney, VT. This 3-day professional development experience is for high school and postsecondary professionals who work with students with LD, ADHD and/or ASD. Dr. Parker will deliver the keynote address, “Lifting Up the Generation that Doesn’t Look Up: Fostering Resilience and Self-Determination.” He will also present a single session, “Sexual Identity, Internet Safety, and Young Adults with ASD.” Landmark College was the first college in the nation exclusively for students with LD and ADHD and offers a comprehensive coaching program.
